Revitalising Redesdale was a £2.8m NLHF-funded Landscape Partnership Scheme which aimed to celebrate, conserve and enhance Redesdale’s rich cultural heritage, landscape and wildlife. Core partners included Northumberland National Park Authority, Natural England and Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
I worked with colleagues at The Creative Core to finalise interpretive locations and the thematic framework, based on a pre-existing Interpretation Plan. This involved close working with the project team and consultation with wider stakeholders. The structure of the visitor experience involved four main interpretive hubs that linked visually and thematically to site-specific interpretation throughout the Redesdale Valley.
